Most vision boards get made in the first week of January, looked at for three weeks, and then become wallpaper. Not because of discipline. Because a board is a picture of an outcome with nothing attached to a Tuesday.
This workbook keeps the board, and adds the part that makes it last: three real goals, four quarterly check-ins with dates on them, and a ten-minute review at the end of every month with the same four questions. That is the whole method. It is not complicated. It is just dated.
What you get
- 30-page printable A4 PDF: how to use it, and an honest page on why boards stop working
- Three board layouts to fill in: a full page, a four-quadrant page (health and body / work and craft / money / relationships), and a one-word-for-the-year page with room to say what the word does not mean
- A life-areas audit: ten areas rated 1–10, plus where you want to be and one line on why that number
- The goal sequence over four pages: the vague wish first, then three goals, then four quarterly milestones each, then the first small action this week with a day and a time on it
- Twelve monthly review pages, one per month, all dated for 2027 with the same four prompts and a 1–10 score so the months can be compared
- Four quarterly reset pages dated for 28 Mar, 27 Jun, 26 Sep and 26 Dec 2027, with keep / change / drop
- A 'when you fall behind' recovery page, a twenty-minute return plan, and a year-end reflection page
What the Excel actually does
- Vision tab: your one word, your three goals, and the ten life areas with 1–10 dropdowns. It works out the gap, names your biggest gap, and builds a radar-ready table you can chart in two clicks.
- Goals 2027 tab: eight goals with area, why it matters, target date, four quarterly milestones, a status dropdown and % complete. The status colours the row; the % complete draws itself as a bar.
- Monthly reviews tab: twelve dated rows, the four prompts and a 1–10 score dropdown, with an average at the bottom.
- Dashboard tab: counts of goals by status, average life-area score, biggest and strongest area, the word and the three goals, plus a bar for each month built from the review tab, and second half versus first half of the year.
- Works in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice and WPS. All formulas standard, no macros.

Who it is for
Anyone who makes a board in January and would like to still be using it in October. Students, working people, home-makers, freelancers and small business owners. If you already use the Winter Arc tracker or the Habit Tracker from digisoftwar.com, this is the year-sized layer above them: the tracker runs the daily behaviour, this runs the year.
Please note
Original Digi Soft design. A planning workbook, not advice of any kind: it does not promise an outcome, a saving or a result, and what you get out of it depends on what you put in. Images on this page are illustrations. Instant digital download after payment, for personal use.

FAQ
Do I have to print it?
Only the board pages really want paper. The audit, the goal pages and the twelve reviews work fine in any PDF app on a tablet. If you would rather not print at all, use the Excel workbook on its own: it has the same structure. There is no physical product; it is an instant download, and you print only what you want to fill in by hand.
Is it dated for 2027?
The monthly reviews and the four quarterly resets are dated for 2027 (each review page names its last Sunday). The boards, the audit, the goal sequence and the recovery page carry no year, so you can print those again for 2028.
How long does it take?
Two hours for the board and the audit, one more sitting for the goal sequence. After that it is ten minutes at the end of each month and twenty minutes at the end of each quarter. That is about two and a half hours across the whole year.
What if I already have a habit tracker?
Keep it. A habit tracker runs the daily behaviour; this workbook runs the year. They answer different questions, and the monthly review is where the two meet. It pairs with the Winter Arc tracker and the Habit Tracker on digisoftwar.com for exactly that reason.
Will the dropdowns and colours work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and choose File > Save as Google Sheets. The formulas, dropdowns and colour rules carry over. If any colour rule does not, the sheet still calculates; only the highlight is missing.
Is it a physical product?
No. It is an instant digital download. Print on A4 at home or at a print shop, or write on it in any PDF app.
