How to use it
- Write the possession date on the countdown page. Every other date counts back from it.
- Do each countdown task in the week it appears. Each one takes under an hour.
- Number every box as you seal it and write the number in the box list. Photograph the list before the truck leaves.
- Take meter photographs on the last day at the old place and the first day at the new one.
- Work down the address change list in the first week, while you still have the old address in front of you.

Questions
Is this for a rental move or a sale?
Both. The handover pages have a section for the landlord and a section for a buyer, and the address change list works either way.
Is it dated?
No. The countdown counts back from your own possession date, so it works for any move.
How many box list pages will I need?
One page holds twenty-one boxes. Most two-bedroom homes need three to five pages. Print as many as you need.
Does the Excel file work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload it to Drive, open with Google Sheets and choose File > Save as Google Sheets.
Will this help me get my deposit back?
It gives you a written record and a photo checklist for the handover, which is the practical part. Whether a deposit is returned depends on your agreement and your landlord.
